Some days, the best way I can let everybody in the family
know I still live is to post old cat
photos. I find this soothing. I hope you do, too.
Those of you who know a bit about magazine publishing know
this is the time of year I start thinking about writing a Christmas
story. So today's links are in the "possible inspiration"
category. You may find these weird but I don't know as I've ever
seen a Christmas story (sf or otherwise) that worked any of these
traditional Christmas stand-bys. Okay, so the Yule Cat is traditional
to Iceland---but that makes it all the more interesting,
right?

be having yet another Lyme-fried moment. Well, hey, if you're
